Free Community PC for Low Income Families
The Digital Inclusion Program is offering free computer training to the community. If your annual household income is less than $45,000 and you are a Riverside resident, then you may qualify for a free community computer. A community computer is a refurbished computer that will have Windows 2000 professional, Microsoft Office Suite and Internet capabilities. To apply for a community computer please call 951-351-6190. The distribution of computers is on a first come first served basis so apply as soon as possible. Once the application has been reviewed, you will be offered free basic computer courses at one of the nearby training facilities. Upon successful completion of the classes, your application will be approved and a refurbished computer will be given to you free of charge after completing a free 8-hour basic computer training class.
